Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller and Donna Nicholson, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Boyne of Aurora, Mr. and Mrs. Estell (Green) Adcock and son, Wayman of Albuquerque, N. M., Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Adcock and Becky Sue of Girard were called here on account of the death of Charles Adcock Saturday.

Charles Edward Adcock, 66, died at 4:20 p. m., Saturday at his residence in Nilwood. He had been in poor health for several years. He was born in North Otter township Nov. 14, 1886, a son of Merida Greenville and Georgeanna Stone Adcock.

Mr. Adcock was a carpenter and spent his entire life in this community. He was a member of Nilwood Baptist church.

Surviving are his wife, Goldie; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Miller and Mrs. Betty Boyne, both of Aurora; three sons, Estel of Albuquerque, N. M.; Cecil of Girard, and Perry, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Della Drake of La Mesa, Calif.; Mrs. Belle Mayfield of Nilwood; Mrs. Sadie Jenkins of Girard, and Mrs. Merida Sims of Springfield; a brother, Thomas of Girard and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Monday in Nilwood Baptist church. Burial was in Union Chapel cemetery, west of Girard.
