Edwin "Bud" ADCOCK

VIRDEN— Edwin "Bud" Adcock, 70, of Virden died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at his home.

He was born Nov. 3, 1931, in Sangamon County, the son of Howard and Lena M. Ersery Adcock. He married Vicky L. LeMarr in 1998 in Carlinville.

Mr. Adcock farmed for more than 50 years, working at Ladage Farms for more than 40 years. He was a member of Modesto Christian Church.

Survivors: wife, Vicky L.; two sons, Rick (wife, Denise) Adcock of Grant Park and Dave Adcock of Divernon; four daughters, Kathy Hampton and Sharon Norman, both of Virden and Deb (husband, Jim) Lovens and Sara (husband, Art) Dombacher, both of Divernon; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; mother, Lena M. Adcock of Girard; two brothers, Larry and Gary Adcock, both of Girard; seven sisters, Alice Faye (husband, Bruce) LeMarr of Modesto, Gladys Adcock of Girard, Carolyn (husband, John) Kaburick of Salem, Lola (husband, Lee) Braley and Mary (husband, Clarence) Maberry, both of Carlinville, and Bertha Acuff and Linda Des Lauriers, both of Chouteau, Okla.; two aunts; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorial services: 6 p.m. Friday, Modesto Christian Church, the Rev. Kevin Bonifacius officiating. Burial: at a later date.

Calvert and Ferry Funeral Home in Virden is in charge of arrangements.
