Mrs. Sadie E. Jenkins, 72, of 209 E. Capitol Ave., formerly of Girard, died at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Asa; six sons, Kenneth of Thayer, Charles of Girard, Carroll of Ontario, Calif., Gene of Baltimore, Md., Clifford of Las Vegas, Nev., Donald of Covena, Calif.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Mayfield of Nilwood and Mrs. Merida Sims of Springfield.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at C. M. Shane Funeral Home in Girard. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery.
