HAYES [sic], David R., 80, of 960 N. 32nd St., died 7:56 a.m. Jan. 20, 1986, in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Hays [sic] was born in Atlanta, Ill., son of Charles A. and Minnie Skeens Hays. He was a farmer, employed by Staley Mfg. Co. and was a machinist for the railroad. He married Addie Hill in 1922.
Survivors include his wife; son, Robert of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
