Luther Hays, 89 of Virden died at 4:20 a.m. Friday at Springfield Community hospital. Services were held at Berry funeral home in Virden.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fern Hall of Prescott, Ariz., and Norma Hartsook of Modesto; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
