Relative of local lady dies Thursday

Grover C. Jennings of Palmyra died suddenly Thursday afternoon, while working with his son, Estel, on his farm near Palmyra. Mr. Jennings was a brother of Mrs. Walter Fullington of this city.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at Stults funeral home in Palmyra with the Rev. Mr. Loafman of Virden officiating. Interment was in Union Chapel cemetery.

Besides his son of Palmyra and his sister of Carlinville he leaves his wife, the former Miss Belle Killiam [sic]; a son, Charles of Waverly; a daughter, Mrs. Velma Burgard of Ipava; two brothers, Ed of McVey and Jesse of Hettick; three sisters, Mrs. Dan Hayes of Mackinaw, Mrs. Earl Swift of Virden and Mrs. Dorothy Stamper of Peoria; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James in 1958.
