Temple H. LENTZ

Temple Hubert Lents [sic], 86, Nevada, died Saturday, July 6, 1985, at Moore-Few Nursing Home.

Born Aug. 19, 1898, in Schwartz, he was the son of Philip W. and Susie Riffe Lents. He was married Sept. 18, 1920, in Nevada to Ethel Lou Todd. She died Aug. 4, 1982.

He was a member of the First Christian Church and World War I Barracks. He had worked as a millwright and in construction. He served in England during World War I. He was discharged as a member of the 319th Service Squadron of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include: two daughters, Thelma Lee Ferriera, Pittsburg, Calif., and Jane Grothman, McHenry, Ill., five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 1985, at Moore Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob Ely officiating. Ferry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
