GILLESPIE-- James E. Ryan, 82, died at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, where he had been a patient for two weeks.

Surviving are his wife, Lora [sic]; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Forester, and Mrs. Charles Keck, and a son, Walter, all of Gillespie; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
