George Rhoads,
near Macoupin Station. The funeral was held from the family residence this afternoon.

Died Tuesday morning at her residence near Plainview, Mrs. Eliza Rhodes, in her 87th year. Interment at the Pruitt cemetery Thursday morning. A great many were prevented from attending by the extreme cold weather. Deceased leaves one sister (Mrs.
Mary H. Pruitt),
four children, twenty grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren to mourn her loss. Mrs. Rhodes was held in high esteem by all who knew her.
