Graveside Rites Thursday For Leamon Wingo

Graveside rites for Leamon L. Wingo will be conducted at 10:30 a. m. Thursday at Kirk cemetery, near Ina, with the Rev. Robert Freytag officiating.

The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Masonic rites will be conducted at Myers Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Wingo, of Phoenix, Ariz., a former well known Mt. Vernon resident, died Sunday in that city.

For several years he served as industrial arts instructor at the Mt. Vernon Township High School and was later associated with the Department of Registration and Education at Springfield, Ill.

He was born at Ina, the son of Thomas and Artemissa (Wyatt) Wingo.

Me [sic] was married to Marjorie Weirich, who survives.

Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. A. G. Packwood of Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. William Schneider of Los Angeles, Calif.

Mr. Wingo was a member of A. F. & A. M. Lodge No. 31.
