Mark Yowell Jr., formerly of south of Carlinville died at 4:05 Saturday afternoon at Memorial Medical center, Springfield. He was 58 years of age.
Funeral rites were held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Meinschein funeral home in Litchfield with the Rev. Paul Carlson, pastor of Mt. Zion Lutheran church of that city as the officiant. Burial was in Union Chapel cemetery at Girard.
Decedent was born November 18, 1922 in Carlinville, a son of Mark Yowell Sr., and Lillie Pursey Yowell.
His survivors include his mother and one sister, Miss Frances Yowell, both of East Alton.
