"Haruhi?" asked Kyon. "Why are you digging a hole in the school football field?"
"Archaeological expedition," Haruhi said, as her spade clinked. "Oh, I hit something! Help me pull it out, Kyon!"
Kyon kneeled over Haruhi's excavation. "It sounded like glass," he said. "Maybe someone buried trash here."
He pulled out a large dirt-covered and mud-filled glass jar. "Congratulations, Haruhi. You've got a jar of dirt."
"Maybe it's a 'time capsule' buried by another class!" Haruhi said. "Or maybe it's a container manufactured by an unknown ancient advanced civilization!"
"Or maybe," an exasperated Kyon said, "it's a jar of dirt!!"
