Ryoko and Tenchi were taking an early evening walk around the lake, not far from the Masaki house.
A modest and bashful Tenchi made conversation about the weather. "Sure is a nice evening, huh?"
Ryoko unexpectedly waxed poetic. "Yes, it is. Mmm... A gentle evening breeze, rustling in the fresh young leaves of the trees... the full moon shimmering on the placid surface of the lake... and somewhere in the distance, the lonely cry of the loon."
As if on cue, they both heard Ayeka shout. "Lord Tennn-chiii!!"
Tenchi sighed. "How do you do that?"
Ryoko grinned. "It's a gift."
