"Thanks to you," a grumpy Kyon said to Haruhi, "I looked like an idiot in front of my sister, last night."
"You didn't need my help with that," Haruhi said smugly. "But what happened?"
"She asked me exactly what it is that the SOS Brigade does," Kyon said. "And I didn't know how to answer her."
"Oh, come on!" Haruhi said. "It's 'spelled out' in our name! 'Spreading Excitement All Over The World With The Haruhi Suzumiya Brigade'!!"
"She meant, what it really does," Kyon said dryly, "and not what it does in your own private Wacky Land Bizarro World."
