Haruhi was standing in front of the club-room white-board, with her arms crossed and her marker curled under her lip.
Kyon walked up. "Still working on your plan to find the aliens?" he asked pleasantly.
"Yeah," Haruhi said, "but I'm having trouble with some of the details. Think you can help?"
Kyon was in a good mood. "I can try," he said. Haruhi stepped aside to let Kyon view her work.

Kyon glanced at Yuki. Without looking up from her book, she silently shrugged her shoulders.
"Nope," said Kyon. "Can't help you."
