Funeral services of Elijah Jefferson Adcock, 52, of 419 Roosevelt Ave., Montebello were conducted on Monday, February [?] at 2:00 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the Zeller Family Mortuary. Rev. John Taylor, Pastor of the First Methodist Church of Montebello officiated. Followed by interment in Rose Hills Memorial Park.
Mr. Adcock had resided [?] Montebello for the past 16 years. He passed away suddenly on February 5, 1960 at his home. Mr. Adcock was a charter member of the Montebello Elks Lodge and members of the Lodge acted as Pallbearers.
Surviving Mr. Adcock are his widow, Mary Adcock of Montebello; a son, James Adcock of Pi[?] Rivera; a daughter, Doris Gregory of Santa Fe Springs. Also he is survived by four grandchildre [rest of obit cut off]
