Fred E. Adcock of Virden died Sunday morning in a Jacksonville hospital. Remains were removed to the Berry Funeral Home in Virden where services were conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday, followed by interment in Girard cemetery.
Decedent was born on a farm west of Girard, June 26, 1884. He is survived by his wife, Jennie; one son, William, of Virden; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Whitlock, Waverly, and Mrs. Florence Haynes, Virden; his father, Caleb Adcock, Virden; one brother, George, of Palmyra.
