Services held for Mrs. Lois Aline Underkofler, 68
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Heinz funeral home for Mrs. Lois Aline Underkofler of this city. Mrs. Underkofler, 68 died at 4:10 last Wednesday afternoon at St. John's hospital in Springfield where she had been a patient for a month.
The Rev. David Nicholson, pastor of the Federated church was the officiant at the rites and Mrs. George Denby presided as organist.
Interment was Oak Grove cemetery in North Palmyra township. Serving as pallbearers were Wayne Kessinger, Charles Perrings, Pete Denby, Paul Flori, Adloph [sic] Selvo and Mike Lanzerotti.
Decedent was the widow of George L. Underkofler who died Aug. 30, 1972. She was born Aug. 25, 1909 in Carlinville, a daughter of George and Jessie Wilson Adcock.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Attending the funeral from out-of-town were Wilbur Underkofler of Burns, Kans.; Miss Betty Underkofler of Bloomington and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bosch of St. Louis.
