Gillespie, Nov. 25. -- Ell Butler, 54, died at 7:20 o'clock Friday evening at his home on Elm street. Mr. Butler was taken ill several weeks ago and was taken to St. John's hospital in St. Louis. Accompanied by a nurse he was brought to his home last week.
Decedent was a son of the late

and Mrs. William Butler and spent the greater part of his life in this city. He is survived by his wife,

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church, Rev. E. U. Yates officiating. Interment will be in the Mayfield cemetery.
