Father of Mrs. Fern Cash dies in Virden
Ernest E. Bristow, 93 of Girard, the father of Mrs. Marshall (Fern) Cash of Carlinville, died Tuesday evening of last week at Hazel Memorial Baptist home in Virden.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Berry funeral home in Girard and burial was in Union Chapel cemetery west of that city.
Other survivors include five sons, Elmer of Phoenix, Ariz., Bernard of Chatham, Glenn of Havana, Orville of South Standard and Robert of Divernon; four other daughters, Mrs. Frances Johnson of Springfield, Mrs. Margaret Barnes of Manhattan, Mrs. Lora Krezel of Bensenville and Mrs. Maleta Boyd of Oakwood; 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Boston of Springfield, Mrs. Cora Crawford and Mrs. Stella Hunt, both of Girard.
