Girard, Dec. 15. -- Edward [sic] Hays died at the home of his brother, Cephus [sic] Hays, five miles west of this city, at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Funeral services will be held in Union Chapel church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Interment will be in Union Chapel cemetery.
