Mother of Howard Adcock died Tuesday
Services for Mrs. Millie Hays Adcock, 82, of Nilwood who died at 4:50 p. m. Tuesday at Weatherford Nursing home here, will be held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2:00 at Berry funeral home, Girard with interment in Union Chapel cemetery. She was the mother of Howard Adcock of this city.
Mrs. Adcock is survived by four sons, Homer of Brighton, Howard of Carlinville, Frank of Springfield, Ralph of Eaton Park, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Jesse Shipp, Mrs. Calvin Hughes, both of Nilwood; Mrs. Sam Wallis and Mrs. Mae Kunz, both of Springfield; two brothers, John and Eli Hays, both of Girard; 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
