LAST RITES HELD TUESDAY FOR MRS. ISRAEL ADCOCK
Funeral services for Mrs. Sina Ellen Adcock, wife of Israel Adcock, were held at Union Chapel church at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, Rev. F. L. Crouch officiating. Interment was made in Union Chapel cemetery.
Mrs. Adcock died at 12:30 p. m. Sunday at her home in Nilwood, following a lingering illness. She was born near Girard January 15, 1866. She married Israel Adcock, and they celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary October 22 of this year. They resided on a farm west of Girard since their marriage, except for two years in Nevada, Mo.
Survivors are her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Helen Hart, Medora; Mrs. Bessie Bettis and Mrs. Myrtle Jenkins [sic], Girard; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Crump, Fairview, Okla.; Mrs. Lucinda Walk, and Mrs. Margaret Walk, Palmyra; Mrs. Millie Adcock, Nilwood, and four brothers, Marshall, John and Eli, Girard, and Charles Hays, Virden.
