Hays Funeral On Sunday
Funeral services for Ulysses G. Hays, of Stonington, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Chestnut-Pearce and Connolly Funeral home, Rev. Clarke Grandfield, pastor of the Old Stonington Baptist church, will officiate and burial will be in the Old Stonington cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
Funeral for Ulysses Hay [sic] Held Sunday
Funeral services for Ulysses G. Hays, retired farmer of Stonington, were held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Chestnut-Pearce and Connolly Funeral home. Rev. Clarke Grandfield, pastor of the Old Stonington Baptist church, officiated and burial was in the Old Stonington cemetery.
Granddaughters carried the floral offerings. They were: Edith Hodges, Bernice Allison, Beulah Traughber, Alfreda O'Brien, Geraldine Parker, Ramona Manley, Caroline O'Brien, LaViene Breeze, Cecelia Wright, Sarah Davis, Eileen Traughber, Katherine and Betty Davis and Pauline and Mary Hays.
The following grandsons served as pallbearers: Fred Hays jr., Calvin Hays, Halden Traughber, Mat [sic] Hodges and Ralph and Dean Davis.
