Lottie Viola Keck, 90, of Willow Springs, Mo., formerly of Gillespie, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000 at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, Mo.

Mrs. Keck was born Aug. 10, 1910 at Baylestown, a daughter of the late James Eli Ryan and Cora Florence (Hutson) Ryan. She was married Sept. 24, 1928 in Gillespie to Charles Oliver Keck, who preceded her in death on March 8, 1967.

A homemaker, wife and mother, Mrs. Keck is survived by two sons, Charles Oliver Keck of Shipman and Kenneth Wayne Keck of Benld; a daughter, Delores Coramae Rose of Granite City; 10 grandchildren, Martin Rose, Tracie Grote, David Keck, Linda Haynes, Laura Cottingham, Christopher Rose, Deborah Koschak, Teri Yates, Loretta Gobel and Lola Mans; and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Ryan and a sister, Ethel Forester.

Funeral services were were at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 11 at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, with Arthur Roemer, minister of the First Christian Church of Gillespie, officiating. Burial was at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery near Carlinville.
