Theodore R. PURSEY

Services for Theodore R. Pursey, age 81, who died at the Auburn Ravine Convalescent Hospital, Sunday, November 25 were held at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City, Nevada, at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 29.

Born in Macoupin County, the son of Charles and Josephine Ann Pursey, he spent his early life in and around Macoupin Station. Preceding him in death were five brothers: Jacob, Wesley, Carl, Edward and Charles Earl.

Mr. Pursey was born February 20, 1903 in Macoupin County, and was a resident of Auburn, Calif., for the past four years. He retired from the post office in Oakland, Calif.

Mr. Pursey is survived by his wife, Bonnie Pursey of Auburn, Calif.; three sisters, Lillie Yowell of East Alton, Mildren Wills of Hillsboro and Dorothy Sembell of Springfield; and one sister-in-law, Katie Pursey of Carlinville.

Interment followed services at Walton's Carson Gardens. Local arrangements were by the Chapel of the Hills.
