Mrs. Goldie Adcock, 68, of Nilwood, died Thursday morning in Carlinville Area hospital where she was admitted as a medical patient Mar. 28.
Born in South Otter township, she was a daughter of Charles and Amy Barnes. She was a member of Nilwood Baptist church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Doris Miller and Mrs. Betty Boyne, both of Aurora; three sons, Estel of Aurora, Cecil of Nilwood and Jerry [sic], at home; two brothers, John of Nilwood and James of Girard; two sisters, Mrs. Dollie Hall of Girard and Mrs. Hazel Hayes of Bloomington; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and son [sic] and two daughters.
Funeral services were held at Nilwood Baptist church Friday afternoon. Burial was in Union Chapel cemetery, Girard.
